ITDC is looking for a full-time Bookkeeper to ensure accurate accounting of AR/AP and FAR reporting as needed. Applicant should have experience with tracking expenses and assisting with project invoices; resulting in several years of Bookkeeping experience. This position will report to the office, located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Duties and Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include working closely with our Project Managers to maintain accurate record keeping of accounting and project resources. The firm uses the Deltek product, Ajera, for its accounting functions. Additional duties include:

▪ Support the tracking of budgets for consulting projects, many of which are for government agencies, so familiarity with FAR reporting is a plus.

▪ Manage financial operations including client invoicing, project accounting, AP and AR.

▪ Enter vendor invoices and prepare for payment.

▪ Review and post employee timesheets and process payroll.

▪ Perform general bookkeeping tasks.

▪ Maintain and track company paperwork and certifications.

▪ Generate requested financial and other reports.

▪ Participate in company meetings and internal events.

▪ Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

▪ Other duties as assigned.


▪ 8-10 years proven job experience, or comparable combined job  experience.

▪ Proven understanding of Bookkeeping in quickbooks software or similar (ITDC uses Deltek, Ajera software) 

▪ Familiarity with FAR (Federal Accounting Reporting) reporting.

▪ Detail oriented, high integrity, with acute attention to detail.

▪ Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects with varying deadlines.

▪ Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

▪ Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills; be able to work independently, multi-task, problem solve, and have the ability to meet deadlines with a high energy, confident, and positive attitude.

▪ Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
